Policy
How corrections work
ZHAIBIAN treats corrections as a core part of maintaining trust. When an error is identified — whether in a source citation, a historical date, a quotation attribution, or a factual claim — we investigate it promptly and transparently.
Corrections are not hidden. Substantial factual changes to published records are documented so readers can understand what changed and why. Minor typographical or formatting fixes may be applied without formal logging.
What to report
Types of errors
Quotation Errors
Misattributed quotation, inaccurate transcription, missing context, or translation that does not match the cited edition.
Factual Errors
Incorrect historical dates, misidentified thinkers or works, inaccurate geographical or biographical claims.
Relation Errors
Broken internal links, incorrect cross-references between thinkers/books/philosophies, or missing connections that should exist.
How to submit
Reporting a correction
To submit a correction, please include the following information:
- Page URL — The specific page where the error appears.
- Passage — The exact text containing the error (copy and paste if possible).
- Correction — What the correct information should be.
- Source — An authoritative source supporting the correction (preferred but not required).
Submit corrections via the contact page or email editorial@zhaibian.com. The editorial team reviews all submissions and responds within 14 business days.
