Alfred North Whitehead was a British mathematician and philosopher who taught at Cambridge, University College London, Imperial College, and Harvard. He co-authored Principia Mathematica with Bertrand Russell before developing a wide-ranging process philosophy. His educational essays grew from teaching, administration, and public lectures.
